Direct Sportslink has worked with The University of Pennsylvania's Melanoma Conference for many events. One of these events was securing legendary former Phillies great third baseman Mike Schmidt (a melanoma cancer survivor) to come in and talk to the group about his experience. Mike shared his personal story about having the cancer, importance of early detection and a little bit about his great baseball career. Mike also took photos with the guests and participated in a Facebook Live Q and A session to increase the awareness
