The Memphis Grizzlies are a NBA team based in Memphis, Tennessee. Along with the Toronto Raptors, the Grizzlies were established in 1995 as part of the NBA's expansion. While two other teams in Tennessee (Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators) in the four major North American sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL) play in Nashville, the Grizzlies are the only team currently to play in Memphis.
