In 2000, Kenseth made the leap to the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, where he won Rookie of the Year honors. One of Kenseth's most memorable moments came in 2009 when he won the prestigious Daytona 500, a race that was shortened due to rain. He followed up this achievement with a second Daytona 500 victory in 2012, further cementing his legacy as one of NASCAR's top drivers. Kenseth's career is also notable for his longevity, as he became the last driver to compete in at least one NASCAR Cup Series race in four consecutive decades, spanning the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s. His ability to adapt to changing conditions and maintain a high level of performance over such a long period is a testament to his skill and dedication to the sport.

In addition to his racing career, Kenseth has taken on a new role as the competition advisor for Legacy Motor Club in the NASCAR Cup Series. He also continues to compete in the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) and frequently races at Slinger Speedway, where he holds the record for the most Slinger Nationals wins. Kenseth's contributions to the sport, both on and off the track, have earned him widespread respect and admiration from fans and fellow drivers alike.
