"Coach-ing It Up" Speaking Program Bullet Points:
· The world is diverse and regardless of your place in it there is always a road and a positive journey for you.
· Bullying is still a huge problem. In high school Coach was a 3 sport athlete but also played in the band and participated in theatre. He is living proof that you can be "cool" no matter what your interests are and you don't have to minimize others just because you might not have interests in there activities.
· Self worth is something that can push you farther than you ever thought possible. Sports, activities, inclusion is a big part.
· Coach is just like many aspiring students, workers, clients, friends, family etc. He is a small town kid from Kansas who also started with a dream and a journey without knowing what the journey was or how to accomplish it. When kids see someone they can relate to it motivates them to believe that they can do it too.
